What a joy it was to meet Parker Thomas Rose! After taking Katie and Darren’s maternity photos, I was so eager for his July due date to come around!

Parker came early and I was so excited when I got to Mercy one morning for work and saw their name on the census. I rushed to room 1025 to say hello and meet sweet Parker!!

After they arrived home from the hospital, we were able to schedule an early morning session for some newborn photos!

I love Parker’s nautical nursery theme and some of the lifestyle laid back photos we were able to get throughout the session!

Enjoy!

I loved meeting the Marshall family last week. An old coworker I had at Johns Hopkins Bayview recommended me to this sweet family and I’m so glad it worked out so I could take Wyatt’s photos.

When I pulled up to their house, I was pleasantly surprised that they live RIGHT on the water. I mean, you walk in their house and straight across the living room is the most beautiful view of the bay!

That being said, it only made sense to have Wyatt’s nursery nautical themed!

He was such a sweetheart and although he didn’t love us posing him and moving him all around, we still managed to get all the moments in between.

Enjoy these sweet photos. Thanks Sarah and Nick for allowing me ot capture this special time in your lives!

Summer Vacation {The Valentin Imperial, Riviera Maya}

Something I have been wanting to do for a while is start sharing more personal things on my blog. Not just photo sessions... but stuff from my own life as well!

What better way to begin doing this then sharing one of my favorite trips ever that my husband I took in early June?!

For Christmas this past year, my parents generously gave us a trip to wherever we wanted to go. Seriously nothing better than the gift of travel, right?!

After going back and forth and researching a million places, we decided we really just wanted a relaxing beach vacation. Although our last trip to Africa was absolutely amazing, it was very adventurous and we were ready for something more laid back (not sleeping amongst elephants and lions.. )

So, we were between Aruba, Jamaica and Mexico. Both my SIL and BIL and my Aunt and Uncle visited this resort in Riviera Maya and raved about it, so we decided to go ahead and book The Valentin Imperial for the first week of June.

It was absolutely amazing. The resort was unlike any resort I had been to. It was absolutely huge. The were several two story buildings throughout the massive property, instead of a tall high rise building! It was also all inclusive which was a game changer! So nice to not have to pull out your wallet every time you want a drink or food!

We upgraded when we arrived to an ocean front room with a jaccuzzi overlooking the ocean. Best money we ever spent! The view was incredible and it was so so relaxing!!

We can not wait to go back...hopefully next year ;)! Enjoy these photos!

Wow! I can’t believe I have been able to take these sweet kiddos photos not once, not twice, but three times!!!!  Every time I think it’s not possible for them to get any cuter... and then they do!

The Rodgers family is so sweet and it’s been such a pleasure watching them grow and capturing these fleeting moments throughout the years.

I remember back to our first session when it was just Maddie and Ava. Mason wasn’t even born yet! The girls were so shy around me and barely said a word! This time around, not only were they talking to me and calling me “Mrs. Allie” 😂, but they were helping me find locations!! I think I might have two future assistants! ;)

Enjoy these photos from our session at The Cylburn Arboretum or a brilliantly sunny, Summer Day! :)

For this past Mother’s Day, Danny gifted his wife and soon-to-be mama a maternity photo session with me! So thoughtful!

I was so excited when Danny reached out with his idea. Jen and I grew up together and I was honored to have this opportunity!

We literally knew each other when we were still in diapers, and it’s so crazy to think she will have one in diapers soon!!

We met at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis on the dreariest, rainiest early June day. It wasn’t just raining.. it was torrential down pouring! Regardless, both Jen and Danny were down for a rainy session!

When we arrived it was raining sideways, so we didn’t even want to try and get photos with the umbrella. We found a concert pavilion where we were able to take some great shots before the rain settled and we headed out to the water!

What a beautiful park! None of us had been here before but it certainly won’t be our last... gorgeous even on a not so gorgeous day!

We had a great time and managed to stay pretty dry! It was so much fun capturing Jen and her adorable baby bump. I am so excited to meet Ava Grace when she arrives in late July!!
